  1. Pakistan (Gold) won the men’s title in Asian Champions Trophy Hokey defeated Japan (Silver). Malaysia won Bronze defeated China. India defeated Oman for 5th place.
  2. India’s Augustine Yesudas (100m) and S. Archana (100m) emerged the fastest of the meet with the time of 10.61 and 12.06 respectivly. They were created new records and they were clinched gold in boy’s and girl’s sections respectively in 2nd South Asian junior athletics.
